Hello I am Tisha and my mom Georgetta, was affectionately known as Punkin and she was great at making flower arrangements and I made bouquets for the first time with her in 2002 for my own wedding. This experience ignited a passion in me that I did not know I had. I am grateful for the gift my mom passed on to me that has enabled me to honor her and carry on her legacy. When my sisterfriend asked me to do the bouquets for her wedding in 2017 it was a bittersweet because I would be doing it without my mom.
I started making jewelry in 2012 when shopping for an event after not finding what I was really looking for I sat down and tried to make what I was picturing in my mind myself and to my surprise it turned out gorgeous. I started giving jewelry away as gifts and they would respond and say I have the perfect outfit for this and in my mind, I am thinking, yea I know it was designed with you in mind. People then started placing orders and from there G&T Originals was born.
Besides being able to share the gift God has given me I genuinely enjoy the creative process; seeing an outfit and creating a custom piece of jewelry that enhances it brings such joy and satisfaction.
